The SEE BRIDGE consortium is excited to share the success of the first international webinar hosted by the SEE BRIDGE project. This webinar focused on the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) and brought together representatives of Social Economy Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SE SMEs) and intermediaries keen to understand its impact.
During the webinar, experts from the partner organisations aimed to explain CBAM in simple terms for businesses. It was also discussed how it works and what it means for operations, such as dealing with rules and potential changes in the market. The goal was to give attendees practical advice they could use.
In addition to CBAM, topics included best practices on green and digital transition. Attendees gained insights into how to capitalise on these best practices and funding options to succeed in their adaptation to CBAM.
At the end of the webinar, participants had the opportunity to join the expert advisory sessions on topics including CBAM regulation, Green and Digital Technologies, and Access to Funding.
Looking forward, the speakers highlighted upcoming opportunities with the SEE BRIDGE project. One exciting opportunity is the Open Call, where social economy small businesses can apply for funding for their green and digital projects.
