The SEE BRIDGE consortium is pleased to announce the launch of its first newsletter. The SEE BRIDGE project is co-funded by the European Union through the Single Market Program (COSME) and aims to support Social Economy SMEs and intermediaries operating in energy-intensive industries on their way to a more sustainable operation through the introduction of green and digital practices, all in line with the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
In this first newsletter, the consortium is pleased to report on the completion of the research on the needs, best practices and funding opportunities for SE SMEs and intermediaries in the energy-intensive industries. The research was conducted through desk analysis, online surveys and interviews with experts in the field and the main results are a catalog of best practices in digital and green transition for SE SMEs and a mapping of financing opportunities for the same target group.
Although the full results of the research will be published in the coming months in the form of a comprehensive guide, SE SMEs and intermediaries will have early access to this valuable information by participating in the first international webinar on “Best practices and funding opportunities for a green and digital transition” to be held on 24 April. This webinar is the first in a series of webinar, workshops and training designed to support SE SMEs and intermediaries in their efforts to adapt to the new legislation through digital and green initiatives.
Finally, SEE BRIDGE consortium has launched the project website where users will be able to find all the relevant information of the project such as results, next activities, information about the Open Call and more.
Keep tuned!
